Ghana’s Minister Of health, Mr. Kwaku Agyemang Manu has been discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Centre where he was on admission after contracting COVID-19.
This was known to the public by the Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah at a press briefing yesterday. The Health Minister is said to have been discharged to continue treatment from home.
So some few days ago report went viral about the Minister Of Heath haven contracted the deadly COVID-19 in the line of duty.
In a quick reaction Mr. Kwaku Agyeman Menu denied the report claiming he just had a break from hard work to have a rest but unfortunate for him, the President in his 11th address to the nation concerning the deadly virus confirmed the situation of the minister as he asked ‘fellow Ghanaians’ to remember the minister in prayers as he battles the virus.
As it stands, Ghana’s COVID-19 case count currently stands at 11,964 with 4,258 recoveries and 54 deaths.
